Picked up my beautiful trailer and hauled it over 1000 miles the first week I had it. Pulls so smooth you forget it is behind you! Very happy!
Comparable trailers I looked at were boxier, made of ply-wood interior and flooring and weighed over 1000 lbs. while the Ironhorse only weights 700 lbs...and I would consider they were made cheaply and no design (just a box on trailer wheels). The Ironhorse wheels and tires look better than some hot rods have.
The Mustang pulled the Ironhorse as if it was not behind my car (even going up mountains in Death Valley). The trailer is a bargain compared to other bike trailers, Aerodynamic design to give you the max performance out of your vehicle.
My wife and I drove from Morrison, TN (where we bought the Ironhorse trailer), hauled the Ironhorse trailer to Charleston, SC; Savannah, GA; New Orleans, LA; San Antonio, TX; Tucson, AZ; Phoenix, AZ; Long Beach, CA;(Route 66) Las Vegas, NV; through Death Valley (6000 feet above sea level)Oklahoma City, OK (Bike Rally) and back home to Kansas (6,600 miles in 21 days) and got 29 mile per gallon (According to State Farm Insurance-Monthly Vehicle Report) in a 6 cylinder, 2010 Ford Mustang (headers and dual exhaust-manufactures rating on highway 24 miles per gallon).
